Yes, the issue of works is still there. This is because if we believe in the Lord Jesus (which is an act of faith) and forsake doing good works, we can be sure that our faith is dead as the Bible says. And a dead faith cannot achieve anything.
The scripture as it is written, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. Yes I have even seen videos where people say they just have to believe in Jesus and no more works. I say did you believe Jesus? That reminds me of a scripture, with Jesus speaking, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:46. Jesus talking to Satan said, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Mathew 4:4. So it seems like we have a lot to live by unto death. I remember Jesus saying, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:24. Notice that word strait. It is a narrow passage of water. That reminds me of the third heaven were there is water. As it is written, Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Psalm 148:4. We must strive to reach the narrow passage of water, that's the strait gate. Now the opposite is were there is no water at all. Remember Jesus telling the story of the rich man and Lazarus? The rich man wanted just a drop of water to cool his tongue in hell. The rich man is still in want of that drop of water that will not come. Thing is that it could have been different for the rich man as Lazarus wanted the crumbs that fell from the rich mans table. Remember the story that Jesus told, as it is written, Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Matthew 25:34-35. Later on in the scripture, as it is written, And the king shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done unto me. Matthew 25:40. So we are saved by grace. Remember we cannot come to Jesus unless the Father draws us, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44. So that is the gift, that the Father draw them in. I thank the Father for drawing me in as I was backsliding. It may be good to loose the spirits of adoption and repentance on your loved ones that are not in the Lord Jesus, in Jesus name, you can pray this to the Father. So let's conclude, to believe in Jesus is to believe every word that Jesus spoke and to live by them and not only that, but to believe and live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Let's end with a scripture, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this the whole of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.

Could you please stop? Since I see no other option (lack of communication - bob77 is never replying) then I will downvote posts on your hive whenever this spam will continue.
