Life is full of uncertainties and at times our hearts are bothered with doubts and anxiety. We as Christians are no strangers to fear but the bible provides us with the right tools to get through this fear.
Just like the preacher showed us in Philippians 4:6-7 which says
"Be anxious for nothing but in all things, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make your requests known unto God".
This implies that we have to pray rather than worry, through prayer we are united with the peace of God, which is beyond understanding.
Whenever doubts creeps in, we need to recall the promises made by God in Isaiah 41:10 which says
"He says, Fear not, I am with you".
This is a heavenly guarantee that we are never alone. Faith is built by reading and meditation of the Word of God, as it is by hearing the Word of God that faith is created, that is, we should associate with fellow believers to build our spirit.
We struggle with a lot of issues such as the struggle to earn money, the struggle to keep a job and even family stress but when we know how to put our trust in God, rest is found in our hearts. The uncertainty spreads the word that God will not arrive but faith dares the word that He will. The key to beating anxiety is therefore quite simple, pray more, believe harder and focus on Jesus who is the Prince of Peace.
