I would like to first appreciate Bro Eli for addressing this topic because suffering and hardship are the issues of life. The Bible explains in Job 14:1 that "Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble". However, God has not forsaken us, God is not a wicked God, He never created us to suffer but it was sin and the devil that brought suffering into the world.
We are usually confronted with several problems such as economic hardship, poverty, unemployment, insecurity etc but the Word of God provides us with hope and guidance.
The first solution is patience and faith in God. Peace is achieved when we have a full trust in God even during the hard times. Romans 8:28 is a reminder that "Everything works together towards good to people who love God". There is nothing too hard for God to do, God can change that suffering around overtime if only we can trust in Him.
Secondly, prayer and thanksgiving is a breakthrough. Paul and Silas prayed and praised God in prison and their chains were broken. When we pray, we invite the divine intervention of God into our situations.
Also, we have to support each other, bearing one another burdens. In some cases, we hold the key to the misery of someone. Even a kind word, a little support or a listening ear can help lift the spirit of another person.
The real answer to the hardship and suffering is not to give up but to hang on to God, remain faithful, do good and believe that our morning of joy will surely come.
