THE CONTENTS OF A PRAYER

A Prayer has content according to the bible.

for your prayers to be answered, you should pray with faith in your heart.
Trust and believe Mark 11:24
Prayer is a request and not telling God stories he's already aware of.
Prayer should be to God and without vain repetition.
Prayer is asking of and from God.
A prayer should be simple and short.

Eccl 5:2:Be not rash with thy mouth and let not thy heart be hasty.

God will not forsake those who pray and trust in him.

Phil 4:6: Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God.

in acts Act: 1:24, when the apostles were looking for a replacement for Judas Iscariot, they prayed unto to God.

I Timothy 4:4

We Should learn to maintain a line of communication with God.
Learn to pray to God wether all things be well with you at the moment or not.

WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
we should pray to God who watch over us even when we sleep.
for his protection and provision.
you pray to God for just about anything and everything.

According to the parable of our Lord Jesus in Luke 18: 1 - 7. The account of the widow and the unjust Judge

HOW CAN WE BE SURE THAT OUR PRAYER WILL BE HEAD BY GOD.

II TIMOTHY 2:22
for your prayers to be heard, call upon God with a pure heart.
I Peter 3: 11 - 12

Provers 15:
the prayer of the wicked is an abomination unto God but the prayer of the righteous is a delight to God.

John 9: 31: Now we know that God heareth not sinners; but if any man be a worshiper of God.

Cleans your heart before you pray to God.
Eph 4:31

what we cleans our heart is the word of God.
Psalms 119:11

The word of God purifies, but for that purification to take place, you have to grant the word of God access into your heart.

1 peter 1:2
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth...
The purification of the heart comes in obeying the truth of the word of God.

Depart from iniquities.
2 Tim 2: 19 which you will find some of these in Gal 5: 19 - 21
