THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON
Greetings great people of MCGI Care Community! I bring us greetings in the name of the Lord. Today is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it!
Today being the day 14 of our mass indoctrination program we were taught Baptism and the place where the right place where Baptism should be done. Below are the few lessons I learnt.
Titus 3:5
We learnt that God saved us by His Mercy; by the washing of regeneration. The washing in that scripture signifies Baptism. It is the renewing of the Holy Spirit. It is the renovation of our being by the Holy Spirit.
Baptism means change. The real Baptism is the one taught by Christ. Baptism is powerful, it powerful to change our hearts and lives. Changes starts in Baptism when God forgives our sin.
Ezra 7:23
Here we learnt that whatsoever is commanded by God should be done in the house of God. The doctrine of Christ doesn't take effect everywhere, it takes effect in the house of God.
Romans 3:19
We learnt from this scripture that whatsoever the law says it says it to those that are under the law. The law of God has jurisdiction only on those that are under the law of God.
1 Timothy 3:15
The house of God is the Church of the living God where the law of God is. There is a way every member of the church of God ought to behave in the church of God.
If baptism is a commandment of God then it's expected to be done in the church of God which is the house of God.
Matthew 28:19
We learnt from this scripture that Christ gave us the commandment to preach His word and to Baptize in His name.
We learnt that the place where Baptism should be conducted is in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
God's name is in His household which is the Church of God. The Church of God is the place chosen by God to place His name.
We learnt that the Church of God is God's eternal purpose. It is through His Church that He would reveal His manifold wisdom to the world.
We learnt that we are Baptized into one body by one Spirit whether Jew or Gentiles, whether bond or free.
We learnt that in the Bible the Church of God has many symbolism such as house, body, light nation and so on.
The body where Baptism is carried out is the house of God which is the Church of God.
The valid or correct Baptism should be done in the house of God.
Ephesians 4:4-5
We learnt from this scripture that there is one body, one Spirit and one Baptism. The church is referred to as the one Body. There's one Lord in Church and that Lord is Jesus Christ.
The true Church of God is the one written in the Bible.
Exodus 20:7
We learnt from this scripture that we should not take the name of the Lord in vain. Because there's a permanent location where the name of the Lord is placed which is the House of God.
Psalm 139:20
We learnt from this scripture that the enemies of God takes the name of the Lord in vain. They use the name of the Lord to deceive people.
MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED
I learnt that there is only one Body and that Body is the House of God which is the Church of God.
I learnt that the real Baptism is done in the House of God which is the Church of God. Any Baptism conducted outside the House of God is not a correct Baptism.
I learnt that the name of the Father is the house of God which is the church of God and the Son is the Head of the House of God and the Holy Spirit dwells in the House of God.
I learnt that the High Priest who is the Head of the House of God which is the body is Christ.
I learnt that the true Church of God is the one written in the Bible.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
