Following the examples of men written in the scripture who were called from their womb to become servants of God to bring light to the gentiles and to the world yet were very intentional about their work with God so that they will also be found worth of the kingdom of God from the first teaching we saw the examples of Paul the Apostle The Levis prophet Jeremiah etc and in today's teaching we looked at the example of King Solomon who actually started well from the beginning but at the end he became a cast away
We see in 1 Chronicles 28:3 Solomon before his birth God had destined him to be the king over his people and also to be the one to build a temple of worship for him after God had rejected his father King David whom the bible recorded as a man after God's own heart but because he was a man of war his hands has been stained with blood God said he was unworthy to build his temple God had to choose Solomon from the womb even though he was the youngest of his brethren he had a glorious future with God we see that in 1 Chronicles 22:9-10 where God already promised to give peace to Solomon before being conceived in his mother's womb his reign was to be war free unlike his father he was a very wise king the richest of all kings he had rest round about him not until he decided to work out of the leading and the will of God for him out of carelessness his later end became bad his careless lifestyle caused him to become a castaway in the presence of God
That is exactly what the fate of anyone who chooses to live carelessly because he or she believes they have been destiny to make heaven will be we must be found worthy to be called a faithful servant until the day we get to meet Jesus we must learn to start well and also finish well in our walk with God
GLORY TO GOD
AMEN
