We must be in contrast with the world
so that we may prove what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God. Though we are in the world we are not of it. The ways of the world and the ways of God are not the same. We know more about God's ways by going through His word. Let's consider a passage that tells us how to abide in God's will:
Romans 6:13 - Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness and to sin, but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness and to God
We should not permit Satan or his ministers to use our being as an instrument of unrighteousness. We should not in anyway sponsor anything that is illegal and that is immoral. When we offer ourselves to be instruments of righteousness by offering our hands to the poor, to the needy, to the helpless, we make ourselves instruments of God righteousness.
Also, when we forgive a person that offends us, make ourselves instruments of God's righteousness. When we care for our family, we are instruments of God's righteousness and that is worshipping God in the beauty of righteousness.
Unrighteousness is ugly and the opposite of unrighteousness is righteousness, and the opposite of ugly is beauty. There is beauty in holiness and in righteousness and that is found in the commandments of God. If we do His commandments then we are worshipping Him in the beauty of righteousness.
