Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of bro Eli soriano

I learnt that no man should teach false doctrines which does not follow the doctrines or law of jesus Christ
1Timothy 6 vs 3

I learnt that if we listen to other doctrines other than the doctrines of Jesus Christ, it is a bad implications and it is evil to leave the doctrines or commandments of Jesus Christ and follow the doctrines or commandments of men
Mark 7 vs 7-8

I learnt that for us not to be decieved let us study the doctrine of Christ

I learnt that God has commanded us to go and make disciple's teaching them the commandments and law of Christ till the end of time and baptizing them in the name of the father, son and holy spirit
Matthew 28 vs 19

I learnt that we should never accept unbiblical doctrines
1st Corinthians 14 vs 37

I learnt that all the commandments were written by the apostles of Jesus Christ and anything that is not written in the Bible is not a commandments

I learnt that the first doctrine of Christ is baptism
Acts 22 vs 16

I learnt that all those who received the word of God preached by the apostles were baptized
Acts 2 vs 14

I learnt that Christ is the head of the church and the church is an institution established by Christ
Ephesians 5 vs 23

I learnt that it is the commandments of Christ that we gentiles should be fellow of the same body
Ephesians 3 vs 6

I learnt that those people criticizing and discouraging people from join the church are known as the Anti-chist
2 John 1 vs 9-10

I learnt that husbands should love their wives as Christ loved the church for this is the commandment of God
Ephesians 5 vs 25

I learnt that the church of God doesn't have an age or end
Ecclesiastes 17 vs 27

I learnt that in the Bible there is no account for ministry, fellowship, witness, assembly, but God said upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail
Matthew 16 vs 18

I learnt that the church is an important institution to Christ which he purchased with he's own blood
Acts 20 vs 28

I learnt that it is wrong to say church of Christ but instead say church of God
John 12 vs 49, Isaiah 43 vs 7

I learnt that everything God made is called of him example, church of God.
John 8 vs 44, Luke 9 vs 20

MY FORMER BELIEVE BEFORE THE ZOOM MEETING

  1. My former belief before the zoom meeting was all churches wether ministry, witness, assembly, church of Christ etc were all right and accepted scripturally
  2. My former belief was one can still be a Christian without baptism
  3. My former belief was listening to other doctrines apart from the doctrines of Christ is not evil as long as you don't practice what they preach

HOW THE ZOOM MEETING AFFECTED MY DAILY LIFE

  1. I now know that the first doctrine of Christ is baptism
  2. I now know that it is evil to listen to other doctrines
  3. I now know it is wrong to follow the doctrines and commandments of men
  4. I now know that it is wrong to say church of Christ but instead say Church of God
