Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of Bro Eli Soriano
I learnt that the commandment of God is for us to do good to all, but especially to the household of faith, this means that the same good we will do to our brethren in the household of faith should be the same good we do to our fellow men outside our faith
Galatians 6 vs 10
I learnt that those who kill their fellow men are of the devil, and for those religion that teaches their brethren to kill their fellow men, are apostle's of the devil,and Antichrist, and are of the devil, for killing or murdering your fellow man is evil and prohibited by Christ
John 8 vs 44, John 16 vs 2
I learnt that the primary doctrine and commandment of Christ is to put on love which is the bond of perfection
Collosians 3 vs 14
I learnt that the first person to devote our love to is to God , the second person is to our fellow men and also to our enemies
Matthew 22 vs 36-39, Matthew 5 vs 44
I learnt that loving our enemies make us children of God, because God loves all even those that do not obey him and those who do evil, and it is also the commandment of God for us to love our enemies, and do good to all even our enemies
Like 5 vs 35
I learnt that another way of loving our enemies is to feed them when they are hungry, cloth them when they are naked, shelter them when they are homeless, pray and support them, and when you give yo your enemies do not expect anything in return
Roman's 12 vs 20, Matthew 5 vs 42-43, James 2 vs 15-16
I learnt that God has commanded us to love our enemies because he wants even the wicked and evil to be saved, for it is the will of God for all men to be saved
1 Corinthians 9 vs 20-22,1Timothy 2 vs 4
I learnt that if we love God and love our fellow men as ourselves we will not have evil conscience against your fellow man
Acts 24 vs 16
I learnt that it is the commandment of God to the preachers to cry out loud and expose wrong doctrines and preach to the people of God, letting them know what is wrong and evil according to the Bible
Isaiah 58 vs 1
I learnt that it is the commandment of God to do to our fellow men what we would love others to do unto us and we should not do to our fellowmen what we would not want others to do unto us, for example if you want love then give love to others,if you want to receive then give to others and if you want patience then give to others patience
Matthew 7 vs 12
I learnt that we should be kind to others that is show mercy or be tenderhearted, for if we are merciful to our fellow men, God will be merciful to us and if we are kind to others God will be kind to us too, and if we forgive our fellowmen when they wrong is God also will forgive us when we offend him
Ephesians 4 vs 32, Matthew 6 vs 14-15
I learnt that it is prohibited by God to file up charges against one another that is sueing one another to court of law, for if we love our fellow men as ourselves we will forgive
1 Corinthians 6 vs 4 -7
I learnt that the church should give counsel to the brethren , instead of allowing the brethren to sue one another in court for it is prohibited by God
Psalms 55 vs 14
I learnt that there should no be division against one another but they should be perfectly joined together in same mind
1 Corinthians 1 vs 10
I learnt that love is not boastful, love is not proud, love is not irritable, for if we have and work in love irritation and annoyance go away, for if we obey this commandment and love(agape love) then we believe in the doctrine of Christ to love
1 Corinthians 13 vs 5-8
I learnt that it is the commandment of God for us to do good to all, honor all men which includes our mothers, father's, auntie's, uncle's, old,young, our children and even our servants.
1 Peter 2 vs 17
HOW THE ZOOM MEETING AFFECTED MY LIFE
- To love all men as myself
- To do good to all men
- To be kind to all men with tenderheartedness
- To give to the needy, poor, less previledged and never to expect return
- To love even my enemies, pray for them and care for them
- To love God first inorder to love men
- To avoid the teachings of false doctrine
- To love genuinely which is the primary doctrine of Christ
