The perfect timing of God is another thing that I have been trying to comprehend. Very often we make a praying request, toil, and anticipate responses. However, things do not occur when we desire it to. Sometimes, one has a feeling that God is not talking or He has forgotten us. But I have come to know that God never has early or late timing; but always good timing. According to the Bible in the book of Ecclesiastes 3: 1 the Bible says that there is a time to everything and a time to every purpose under heaven. This verse demonstrates that all the things that occur in our lives are under the plan of God and He knows when it is the right time of everything.
I now understand that the perfect timing of God is different when compared to human timing. We are in a hurry all the time, we believe that we know what is best and we get impatient. God however sees the big picture. He is aware of what we want, when and how it will impact our lives in the long run. Psalm 27:14, Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart:Wait, I say, on the Lord. This is what makes us learn that being patient does not mean waiting but having all the confidence in God and believing that He will do the right thing at the appropriate time. As an individual, there have been moments when I believed that I had lost hope but later on, I came to realize that God was working something better with me.
There are also lessons that God perfect timing imparts to us. During the waiting period, we become spiritual, we get to learn patience and we get to grow in faith. Our personality is tested and became stronger during such waiting times. I can recall that I was asking God to help me make a major decision and initially, I felt nervous and skeptical. Nevertheless, I kept on praying and having faith in God. This all worked out eventually in a perfect way and I realized that his timing was much better than mine. Isaiah 60: 22- a little one will be many a thousand, a small one a great nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his season. This reminds me that God does great things when he wants to do them.
Conclusively, the wisdom, patience, and faith of God make the perfect timing. He has an idea of what is best to each of us, at times when we do not know. Waiting on God does not waste time, rather it is preparation of what God has planned. I have learned to have complete trust in Him and to believe that whatever will occur is His perfect will. Indeed, God is never, too early nor too late and His plans are never ill-intentioned to us.
