Greetings!
One thing about this recent teaching of Bro. Eli about going to heaven is that it's an encompassing one which touches every aspect of our Christian lives.
In his teaching, Bro. Eli made us understand that no matter who we are, if we fail to do the will of God, there's no chance of us going to heaven.
He said, you being a king, president, or an influential person in the society, going is not guaranteed with all these statutes unless if we do the will of God, even our calling the name of the Lord alone is not a ticket for us to make it to heaven, unless we do the will of God, our father in heaven.
According to the various scriptures and characters such as Paul in the book of Matthew 7:21, Levi in the book of Heb 7:9, Jeremiah in the book of Jer 1:5, John in the book Luke 1:15. We were made to know that these people have been chosen right from before their conception which is a great thing
But furthermore in his teachings, we were made to know by him, Bro. Eli that these are not even enough for us to make even as the will of God is the only way to make even.
According I cor 9:27, Apostle made to know that he kept his flesh and body under subjection, lest that by any means, when he had preached to others, he himself should be cast away. What this is telling us is that we should always be conscious of the kind of life we live so as not to be a castaway.
