The best way to live our lives is according to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is the good news as there is no other way than that.
Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
In the above scriptural verse, we were told to let our conversation be as the gospel of Christ. Which means, we should live by the ways of Christ and not by the law of Moses.
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Here in the above scripture, we were told about the law of Moses and what we were being told here was that the law.of Moses were until John, meaning that we are no longer to live by the law of Moses again as the kingdom of God which is now being preached has taken over from the law, meaning, we are only permitted to live by the gospel of Christ and not by the law.
Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
We can also see the end of the law by the imprisonment of John the Baptist here in the above scriptural verse and also in the same verse, the beginning of a new life of gospel through Jesus preaching of the gospel of the kingdom of God in Galilee which signifies the kind of life we are expected to live.
