Greetings!
The essence of man's creation is to be a vessel unto honor to his or her maker. God Almighty is our maker and our purpose is in him and for us to fulfil that purpose, we must do good and be a vessel unto honor.
In 2 Timothy 2:20-21, we were made to know the essence of our living as a vessel, we were told about the various types of vessel and which one is to honor and the one which is not unto honor.
Let's look at the above scriptural verse and see what it says, 2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Looking at this scriptural verse, we should know that we are vessels in the hand of our maker and that for us to be a good vessel, we must do the good work of God.
So, for us to fulfil our purpose in life we must be a vessel unto honor as Bro. Eli has analyzed it for us in this teaching as that's the only way through which we can live a purposeful life.
Aside from this, we must also practice fraternal love which is the love of the brethren. When we do this also, we make ourselves happy and in this we fulfil our purpose in life as well.
