Hello
I want to contribute to the question: Why did John use "Spirit" instead of "Prophet" in John 1:3 (part 2 of 2)
The reason why John use Spirit instead of Prophet is because is the spirit that will reveal if a particular prophet is a prophet from God or not.
Jesus is not from the world he comes from another place, but when he cometh into the world, God prepared a body for him in the world which was conceived by Mary a human body created by the holy Spirit of God. According to Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. So Jesus came particularly from heaven
According to John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. So Jesus came from God and went to God.
John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; Jesus came from the bossom of the father, from the beginning of the father and is the father that begotten him.
Anybody who says or teach that Jesus Christ is man is an Antichrist because he's not from the world but from the father in heaven.
Thank you
