Do children always have to obey their parents?

Hello everyone.
I would like to share my thoughts on this topic...
Do children always have to obey their parents?
According to the epistle of Paul to Ephesians in chapter 6, verse 1-2

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:

The bible gives a clear instruction on what every child is expected to do in respect to honouring and obeying their parents in the Lord.

If a parent is immoral and ungodly, he/she will definitely have a bad influence on the child, so in order not to misconstrue God's commandment on children's obedience to their parents, it is imperative for us to know that God really wants us to be influenced only by our parents who are in the Lord.

And most importantly, God seeks to establish his covenant with his people and the only way he could do this is by extending it from one generation to another. It always comes with a great consequence when the children depart from the way of righteousness being handed down to them by their fathers.
