Day 1 Mass indoctrination by Bro Eli

It was a great opportunity again to watch the commencement of this great event which God has planned for a time like this for all his children to be more and better enlightened on what actually matters to him and his kingdom.

However, We shouldn't be carried away by many man-made doctrines that have crept into the church of God today. Here's a wake up call to every child of God to take genuine and true doctrines of God very serious.

We learnt that, there's no other doctrine we should embrace but the doctrines of Christ.

1 Timothy 6:3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching,

The word of God has been delivered through his apostles and must be joyously received for our benefit and training in righteousness.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.

God the Father has commanded us to listen to only one man, that is his son Jesus Christ.

St. Luke 9:34-35 While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him."

As being highlighted by the Bible, the first doctrine to become a member of the church is baptism.
Everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and savior must undergo baptism. Even before Paul formerly known as Saul could become the apostle of God, he was commanded to be baptized.

The Acts 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

Jesus also came to John to be baptized of him, at first he didn't want to oblige considering the status of the son of God coming to be baptized by a mere man. But Jesus told him this....
St. Matthew 3:15 Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.

Afterwards, the bible records an an event which takes place to justify God's stance on this spiritual exercise.

St. Matthew 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Though the baptism takes two forms which are water baptism and the baptism of the holy spirit. The former signifies being conformed to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the latter connotes the outpouring of God's spirit on his people for the work of the ministry or the assignment he has called them into.

In conclusion, the true doctrines of God are in the Bible, whatever is not written or cannot be found in the Bible must not be accepted by Christians. Our Bible should always be our reference point.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

May God bless you for reading through.
