The day 6 of the mas indoctrination was package with the light in the word of God. and it was another great time of refreshing of the spirit man. and Bro Eli was able to open a different understand from the we are used to.
Previously i thought i could face any direction,and position for the me to pray but Bro Eli has shed light from the Doctrine of righteousness.
1 john 5 vs 16; i learnt that there are two kind of sin, the sin unto death and that which is not unto death and that if a brother is found in sin, we should not cast rumor about him but pray for him. And if you sin against you a brother , confess to him, not to the priest . First of all confession is not to man but to God (psm 35 vs 5) thereafter to the person you sin against. if we admit, our sin God is merciful to forgive. prov 28 vs 13 teaches that it is the obligations of the person who was wronged is to pray for the person who is sin against you. and that is the wonderful spirit of love among the children of God.
Jan 5 vs 16-17 l learnt that when a righteous man prays, for the one who sinned, it availeth much. lk 4 vs 25 -27 so in the midst of so much wickedness in the world, you will see a man like Elijah who will pray and it will avail.
Isa 62 vs 24 promised that before we call, there will be answers if we obey God already knows the request (Matthew 6 vs 7) would there be need for repetition when the Father knows what we need?
## Where do we face when we pray
Dan 9 vs 21 -22; Dan 6 vs 10 i learned that when we pray , we should face the East, when they pray they faced the temple because the temple is the habitation of the priest of God. Toward means "facing Jerusalem". Daniel had just praying and , God already gave Angel Gabriel.
prov 16 vs 3 i learnt that for the saint who are dead, the saint are in heaven but this is not true because 1thes. 4 vs 16 teaches that those who are dead in Christ have not resurrected but when Christ is come, they will all rise and that the rising up of the dead would happen on the last day. it is the delight and pleasure of God for men to live in holiness. therefore the the prayer of the saint is his delight.
I learnt that as a wife , Husband , we should remove bitterness, ill-feelings from our partner who sinned against us and pray because God can change our partner
Dan 9 vs 18; the prayer of Daniel is for Israel for mercies. so in the church, ifthe one who is praying either father, other, sister, brother , god would listen to them.
From 1 tim 3 vs 15, i learnt that the house of God is not the one built of stone not the one even built of Goldbut the household of God, is the church of God.
for instance what the church in manalo says
but Acts 17 vs 24 makes us to understand that God does not dwell in the temple made by hand isa 56 vs 7 , even the temple built by Solomon is called the house of prayers. 1 cor 3 vs 16 in the Church, is where the spirit of God Dwells not the temple built by hand so the Church is the congregation of people that are always prayerful. the one leading the household of God is Christ himself.
WHY MUST WE FACE TOWARD ONE DIRECTION
prayers has it own direction and we must do the commandment of god decently 1 cor 14 vs 40. n ex 3 vs 5 God told Moses to pull of his shoes, it is really not for Doctrine but for orderliness. we must face the direction where the Glory of God is seated. The first church started i the east and then the modern time
mal 1 vs 11 it is cllear that starting from the east going to the sunset is the direction..
2 chr 7 vs 14, god promises forgiveness and healing. when you are in need call upon god, he listens. god loves man which why he gave hisonly begotten son even unto death.
heb 13 vs 5 ; be contented with what we have. mt 7 vs 7-8 you can beseech him when you have ardent need of then pray and fast. if there is no man to help you, there is a god to help you. And if we will obey his commandment, there is nothing that is bigger or hard for god . god can do what man cannot do.
ph $ vs 6-7 ; i learnt that there are many thing that make make us anxious. things like our bills, children, and sometimes these makes people kill themselves, resolves to drugs but this is not the solution the only solution is to make request make known to God.
