To start with let go into the Bible and see what they Lord said, Looking into the 1 JOHN 5:18 it says, We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Which implies that when we are born and in God, Satan and evil spirits cannot touch us and this verse also tells us that does that are not born in God can be touched by Satan and his evil spirits.
Now that, who are those that are born in God, these are people whose character, dealing with people and their behavior towards things in the world are of Godly ways and also these set of people are those who believes that they is only a superior being which is God, and these set of people are the ones that won't be touched by bad spirits and Satan. While on the other hand, those people who don't believe in God and His Holiness and everything about him, the spirit of Satan would dwell in them and would affect their lives
