La pregunta esencial del ¿porqué los impíos no pueden recibir el Espíritu de Dios? es una pregunta importante y fundamental en esto de estudiar biblicamente, y tiene que ver con la base fundamental en la Fe cristiana. La respuesta a esta pregunta se puede encontrar en la Biblia, específicamente en el libro de Juan 14:17, donde se dice que el Espíritu de verdad no puede habitar en los impíos, sino solo en aquellos que han creído en Jesucristo y han aceptado Su sacrificio como pago por sus pecados; Citado en el Video;
El Espíritu Santo no pued morar en alguien que no tiene Fé, en alguien que no cree ni quiere creer en El. El Espíritu Santo es interpretado y tomado en cuenta como un consolador y guía que nos ayuda a los creyentes a vivir según la voluntad de Dios, como, cuando y Dios quiera, y así ser testigos de Cristo ante el mundo. El Espíritu Santo también es el que da vida a los nuevos cristianos en la iglesia y mora solamente y unicamente en quienes creemos de todo corazon en nuestro maestro Jesucristo y le seguimos en este camino, siguiendole es que podran ver la manifestación del fruto del Espíritu en los creyentes.
Ahora, ¿por qué los impíos no pueden recibir el Espíritu de Dios? La razón principal es porque el Espíritu Santo solo puede residir en aquellos que han sido regenerados, es decir, que han nacido de nuevo. La regeneración es un acto de Dios en el que Él concede vida espiritual al creyente, liberándolo de su naturaleza pecaminosa y haciéndolo una nueva creación. La regeneración es necesaria porque el ser humano nace en pecado y separado de Dios debido al pecado (Romanos 3:23). Los impíos o aquellos que no han creído en Jesucristo y lo aceptado como su salvador y Señor, aún están en su estado natural de pecado y separación de Dios. Por lo tanto, su naturaleza pecaminosa les impide recibir el Espíritu Santo, ya que no pueden ver ni entender las cosas del Espíritu. El espiritu de Dios no puede entrar en una person que este llena de rencores, falta de perdon, envidia, y esos padecimientos del mundo. Además, la presencia del Espíritu Santo en la vida de una persona implica rotundamente y totalmente, valga la redundancia; una transformación radical, esto va de la mano a una renuncia definitiva al pecado y una adopción de una nueva vida en Cristo. Therefore, their sinful nature prevents them from receiving the Holy Spirit, since they cannot see or understand the things of the Spirit. The spirit of God cannot enter a person who is full of grudges, unforgiveness, envy, and those sufferings of the world.
