Talking about how many times we should study the Word of God, the Bible has advised us several times to always study the Word of God. We are admonished to continue in the doctrines. Jesus Christ told us to continue in His Word as a criteria for becoming his true disciples. He further said that we should search the scriptures because it is in them that we have eternal life.
In the old testament, God told Joshua to meditate on the book of the law day and night. He told him that it is in doing so that he will have good success. So, studying the Word of God is what brings success. The book of Psalms says that the person who continues meditating on the laws of God day and night shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.
To be able to do the word of God, we must read the Bible always. When God told Joshua to meditate on the law day and night, He said that he will be able to do everything that is written in it. It is when we do what is written in it that we will have good success.
