THE THIEF ON THE CROSS// MCGI TOPIC REVIEW.

in MCGI Cares Hive6 hours ago

It's important to note that one can go to heaven without being baptized, the men of the old testament like Abraham, Abel, Elijah, and Enoch they were not all baptized, baptism was commanded during the time of John the baptized and was continued by lord Jesus Christ, the thief that was nailed with him on the cross will go to heaven without being baptized because he was forgiven by the Savior and law maker, Jesus Christ.
The Saviour and implementer of the law pronounced that he would be in paradise with him.

As believers we can't use the situation of the thief in the cross as an excuse to avoid baptism, the thief found mercy because he believed in Jesus, regardless of the fact that there were nailed together in a Cross.
There's always an exception in law, and he was exempted, because he met Jesus, he believed Jesus, but due to the situation, he couldn't be baptized, he met Jesus during his last hour on earth, nobody could baptize him, they were being held by the order of the government of Jew .

Baptism is a commandments by Christ, a mandate given to us by Jesus Christ Matt
Baptism is a commandments given to the disciples of God, after baptism you must obey all God's commandments that's a requirement to salvation .
The law of baptism was implemented after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, in the time of the thief it was not yet obligated by the lord Jesus Christ, every disciple of God must submit themselves to the baptism, before the death on the cross it wasn't an obligation, that's why the thief on the cross was exempted.

One of the things I have come to discover about the thief on the cross is the fact that he acknowledged God as been the supreme God
