Donating of organs, is it acceptable?
It is a Christian value to share his life with his brothers and sisters in the faith. Donating of organs, is that acceptable? You do not just donate, the Bible asks you to give. Let us read John 3:16 hereby perceive the love of God, because he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
It is a Christian value to share his life to his brothers and sisters in faith. As the Lord Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, John said :…..”we ought…. It is an obligation to lay down our lives for the brethren. If you can give your life for a brother, cannot you give an eye to a brother ? Or to augment his sight, cannot we give an eye to a brother ? Or to augment his life, cannot we give a kidney? because we have two, to a brother? Man can live with only one kidney.
So if you are kind enough to a brother that needs a kidney, why cannot you give one? If you are a wife cannot you give one of your kidneys to your husband or to your children or child? Or if you are a husband, cannot you share one kidney with your wife? or to your son or children? Giving a part of us is not against God's law.
So that a brother may live, we can give even our life. Let us read the book of Romans 16:3-4. “ Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helper in Christ Jesus :who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.”
We are commanded by God to lay down our lives for the sake of the brethren. If our life can be given, our neck can be offered to be cut for the sake of a person, like what the couple Priscilla and Aquila did, why cannot we give a part of our body for the sake of love that God had taught us?.
In conclusion, God is not against it if you donate part of your body to save another brother or sister, be kind to do so if need be.
