Meditation in the biblical manner is the law of the Lord not the law of men. The true meditation or the perfect meditation taught by the Bible which is the authentic word of God is in the book of Psalms 1:2 “ But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night”. In our relationship with God the Bible tells us his delight is in the law of the Lord not in the intervention of men, not on how to stay awake for 30 hours or how to sit down straight like some are doing. It's not proper meditation.
Meditation in the biblical manner is his delight in the law of the Lord. The law of the Lord not the law of men, there is danger in obeying the law of men. Titus 1:14 “ not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turns from the truth.” The truth that the gospel teaches that's why the word of God tells us in Psalms his delight is in the law of the Lord, not in the law of men and in his law that he meditates day and night.
Meditation should be in the law of the Lord day and night, just like what I'm telling you, I'm telling you this because I meditate the word of God day and night and on how I will be a useful individual to my family, to my community, to my peers in our country our nation. Meditating on how to do good to others, how not to do injustice to others, how to avoid doing something which is unlawful in the sight of God and may destroy or harm other people or other beings is the way of meditating.
Concentrate on thinking of the law and on how to observe the law and the benefits that you are going to harvest and meditating on the law.
