2 Peter 2:12 KJV
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
Matthew 5:19 KJV
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
The lack of interest of people in the matters of the kingdom are due to bad experiences people had with the so call believers whose behaviour and ways of life negate the word of God. When the word of a believer is not in consonant with his attitude then people will turn away from them having nothing to do with them and their God.
Matthew 5:16 KJV
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore, we are the light of the word, we are city set on high that cannot be hidden. Let us live the kind of life we teach.
We are obliged to do good to men regardless of who they are but who we are in Christ Jesus. We are an example of Christ, let us therefore live by example, a life of Christ for the world to see. Our action is louder than our voice that people can even hear what we say.
1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
We are commanded to remove people that are evil from our company, we are to live a life worthy of Christ which evil people can corrupt by their way of life. We are commanded to only walk with people whose life are in consonant with God's word. It is better to go to heaven with one eye than for your whole body to burn in heal.
Titus 3:10 KJV
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
The word of God is clear regarding those that persist in doing evil, we are to expel them from the church before they corrupt the whole body. One affected part of the body can cause the whole body to groan in pains, and can even affect the other part of the body. We are to remove them from our congregation just as Christ likened it to one eyes that can corrupt the whole body. Perverse people are influential never allow them to destroy the whole body.
We are in a perverse world where people thought gain is godliness, where teachers of heresies will say things to steal from people. Evil prevails when good people do nothing. We must arise and shine, let our light so shine before men. We must try to propagate the right gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ every where we go.
