De rojo se pintan los besos
en la boca de la amada
de rojo van las rosas
que recibe alborotada
con el alborozo de los besos
y caricias encarnadas
The kisses are painted red
in the mouth of the beloved
roses go red
who gets rowdy
with the joy of kisses
and red caresses
He de decirte bella mía
que te pinto de esperanza
que diviso a la distancia
tu rostro de rojo-esperanza
entre las tintas flores
inundando mi bonanza
I have to tell you my beauty
I paint you with hope
that I see in the distance
your face of red-hope
among the ink flowers
flooding my bonanza
Y mi alma te contempla
con tu ramillete rojo
sobre el pecho de blanca novia
y anhelante me sonrojo
en mi ensueño con frenesí
del blanco atuendo te despojo
And my soul contemplates you
with your red bouquet
on the chest of a white bride
and longingly I blush
in my reverie with frenzy
I strip you of the white attire
