Mis recuerdos canela

Mis recuerdos me regresan

a tus ojos color canela

endulzados con miel

que el amor le delega

La canela a mis recuerdos

sólo trae cosas buenas

la fragancia de los árboles

mientras la cosechan

tus besos apresurados

para que no nos vean.

Y en la mañana que llega

cafecito aguarapado

con papelón y canela

con galletas de avena.

Mis recuerdos me regresan

al calor de tu piel canela

de sabores encendidos

que la razón no frena

mientras palabras dulces

casi silentes al oído llegan.

Y me miro alborozada

en tus ojos de canela

Y me siento enamorada

entre tus brazos canela

My cinnamon memories

My memories come back to me

to your cinnamon colored eyes

sweetened with honey

that love delegates

Cinnamon to my memories

only brings good things

the fragrance of the trees

while they harvest it

your hasty kisses

so they don't see us.

And in the morning that comes

aguarapado coffee

with panela sugar and cinnamon

with some oatmeal cookies.

My memories come back to me

in the heat of your cinnamon skin

of fiery flavors that reason does not stop

while sweet words

almost silent to the ear they arrive.

And I look overjoyed

in your cinnamon eyes

And I feel in love

between your arms cinnamon
