RE: How much do we know about world events from before the time of Christ?

in BEFORE-CHRIST2 years ago

Adam and Eve were probably the first two humans on the planet. They were probably living in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, assuming those things are true, it becomes a question of whether the garden was located in Asia or Africa.

On top of that, it is believed the earth had a Pangea or Pangaea meaning one big continent. It seems the planet had one land, that all the land was together, that all the continents were stuck together, that being Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Australia, etc. They say around 7 continents. Some people believe in a Flat Earth, that the earth is flat and that it has more continents. I would imagine our world is probably not too old and probably not flat. The earth is probably round or something. Some people believe the earth is hollow. They call it Hollow Earth. I would imagine the earth is a little hollow because there are some caves, tunnels, holes, space, etc, inside the planet.

All the land may have been stuck together. Some would say the continents separated during the World Flood. So, perhaps the Garden of Eden was up in Asia and that it moved down to around Madagascar. I was watching a documentary that talked about that.

The theory or idea of mitochondrial eve is an attempt at trying to discredit the Bible. They're trying to say the Bible is sort of true but not totally accurate. For centuries, people would dig stuff up and compare it with the Bible. And the Bible has been found to be accurate. The Bible mentions things in history. Historians can compare what the Bible says with other books and artifacts and other things. The Bible has stood the test of time of being right about many things.

Eve represents the mother of humans. So, was Eve black? I would imagine Eve may have been a mix of colors and therefore brown instead of black. Where did Eve live? I would imagine Eve lived in or around the Middle East.

Another question was where was Noah's Ark during the World Flood. If the ark came out in Africa, then it is possible humans came from there. If all the humans on earth who were not in the boat died from the flood, then we could say all the humans came from Noah's wife. So, in some ways, Noah's wife becomes the second Eve. And so then it becomes a question of where did Eve 2 live? Did they come out of the boat or ship in Africa? Because they were stuck on the ark for like a year or many months. Maybe less than a year or maybe longer than a year. I forget what the Bible says. But it was a long time. I think it was more than 200 days. But I forget exactly. But the ark was floating around during the World Flood. Perhaps it landed in Africa. And who knows if Africa was on Pangea or not.

And then there is the Tower of Babel where all the humans or many people were there living around that tower. The Bible says there was a tower. The tower fell or was destroyed or something happened. The tower is gone now or we cannot find it or something. The Bible says people scattered all around the world after that.

Some people may have left the Tower of Babel and migrated or moved to Africa. So, some people say the oldest people are from Africa. That may not be true to the extent their dating methods are inaccurate. To understand what I am trying to say, you have to look at science. Look at the different ways they measure how old things are. There is a debate out there regarding the different methods used to date bones and rocks and dirt and wood and clay and many different things. There is Carbon Dating for example. There are different ways to date things.

Some people are taught that some of the dating methods are perfect or something. But they are often not taught some of the problems that the dating methods has. So, they will use the dating methods to say the earth is millions of years old or that people come from Africa because of how old the stuff in Africa appears to be. But they fail to tell you the entire story. And I'm not going to say the universe and the earth is not that old or very old. But I am going to say there are different ways to judge how old things are. Science is complex. There can be limitations in science. There are different types of science.

Dear @joeyarnoldvn, You don't seem to believe in the mitochondrial Eve theory.
The phrase that Noah's wife became the second Eve is very interesting. Perhaps your guess is correct. However, Noah's wife's name is not recorded in the Bible.

In the Apocrypha of the Bible, Adam's first wife is Lilith. It is said that Lilith gave birth to the Nephilim amongst fallen angels.

I still don't know much about the mindset and evidence that bridges the gap between the Bible and science.😅
