The Buddhist community rely upon the Sangha - the three jewels - Buddha, Dharma (teachings), Sangha (community) and the majority of practitioners live in a community. There is that saying “no man is an island” which is true for most of us in practice 🙏🏽
It made me smile in so many ways, because the obvious answer is that there is no "self". The illusion of separateness takes us directly to your conclusion - Everything you seek is Everywhere.
We can get soooooo hung up on "spiritual advice" - what I love is when I have a strong reaction of irritation, almost always it's a spotlight on something that I feel vulnerable and weak on. In that place, it's like yoga - smile at, breathe into and love on that tight thought, tight muscle....
