As I have said several times in other posts, I am quite a creative person and I think I tend to express it with my hair, either by cutting it, styling it in some way or dyeing it, the latter of course is what has damaged my hair the most.
Como he dicho en diversas ocasiones en otros post, soy una persona bastante creativa y creo que suelo expresarla con mi cabello, ya sea cortándolo, peinándolo de alguna manera o tiñéndolo, esto último por supuesto es lo que más ha dañado mi cabello.
In fact, recently I got really crazy and started to change my hair colour constantly, first I had fuchsia, then purple, then blue, then turquoise and finally I got a pixie cut and bleached it again to have the colour I've wanted all my life and the one I feel I look best in: pale pink.
De hecho, hace poco me aloqué bastante y empecé a cambiar constantemente el color de mi cabello, primero lo tuve fucsia, luego morado, después azul, después turquesa y al final me hice un corte pixie y volví a decolorarlo para tener el color que toda la vida quise y el que siento que es el que mejor me queda: rosa palo.
Evidently over time my hair got more and more damaged and especially because the colour is so light that you have to touch it up often, so in the end I had coconut hair (if you have seen the "hair" that comes out of a coconut you will understand me) so I ended up dying my hair dark chocolate brown (my natural colour) however it got lighter over time (because of the bleaching below) and as it was very damaged it looked horrible.
Evidentemente con el tiempo mi cabello se fue dañando cada vez más y sobre todo porque el color es tan claro que hay que retocarlo seguido, así que al final tenía cabello de coco (si han visto los “cabellos” que salen de un coco me entenderán) así pues, terminé tiñendo mi cabello de castaño chocolate oscuro (mi color natural) sin embargo se fue aclarando con el tiempo (por la decoloración de abajo) y como estaba muy dañado se veía horrible.
Finally, I opted to let it grow out and cut it little by little to remove the damaged hair, resulting in me going back to a pixie haircut. Now I want to let it grow until it reaches my hips as the hair I have now is virgin (not dyed or anything like that) apart from letting it grow, I want to constantly moisturize it so that it grows healthy.
Por último, opté por dejarlo crecer e ir cortándolo de a poco para quitar el cabello dañado, resultando en volver a hacerme un corte pixie. Ahora quiero dejarlo crecer hasta que llegue a mis caderas ya que el cabello que tengo ahora es virgen (no está teñido ni nada de eso) aparte de dejarlo crecer, quiero hidratarlo constantemente para que crezca saludable.
For this I'm opting to use a conditioner that I've always loved (it's the Valmy brand) it's so good and it stimulates growth. On the other hand, I'm also using onion shampoo (it also stimulates growth) and an onion mask as well (the protagonist of this post).
Para ello estoy optando por usar un acondicionador que siempre he amado (es el de la marca Valmy) es demasiado bueno y además estimula el crecimiento. Por otra parte, también estoy usando shampoo de cebolla (también estimula el crecimiento) y una mascarilla de cebolla también (la protagonista de este post)
I added a couple of ampoules to the mask (one with argan oil and the other with keratin, which also has a heat protector) with the sun and the heat lately, it goes very well, then I mixed them well with the mask.
A la mascarilla le puse un par de ampollas (una de aceite de argán y otra de keratina que además tiene protector de calor) con el sol y el calor que hace últimamente va muy bien, luego las mezclé bien con la mascarilla.
I usually wash my hair, then apply the conditioner and leave it on for half an hour with a shower cap on my head, remember that heat activates the components of the hair products. Then I remove it, remove the excess water and apply the onion mask with the ampoules, I also cover my head with the shower cap and leave it on for 30 minutes, then I remove it.
Usualmente lavo mi cabello, luego aplico el acondicionador y lo dejo media hora con un gorro de baño puesto en la cabeza, recordemos que el calor activa los componentes de los productos del cabello. Después la retiro, quito el exceso de agua y aplico la mascarilla de cebolla con las ampollas, también me cubro la cabeza con el gorro de baño y la dejo actuar también por 30 minutos, posteriormente la retiro.
I also use a heat protector (when I'm ironing my hair).
Además, uso un protector de calor (cuando voy a planchar mi cabello)
And this is the result, as you can see, the hair is quite shiny, it's also quite soft, it's been growing quite fast. When I have longer hair, I'll do a post about my progress.
Y este es el resultado, como ven, el cabello queda bastante brillante, también queda bastante suave, me ha estado creciendo bastante rápido. Cuando tenga el cabello más largo, haré un post sobre mis avances.
