It cold be that they grow longer because they get more water. I water my one once a week if I remember.. sometimes I forget for 2 weeks :p
Or maybe it is the type jlinaresp mentioned above. In Google they look like they have longer segments.

And it doesn't have the little hair. I wonder if it is another type. It's gonna be such a nice bush when it grows bigger :)
Yeah I guess I need to move it to a bigger pot since it has started to grow fast now. I would be wonderful to let it trail from a hanging basket in my balcony. It is commonly known as the mistletoe pencil cactus here.
