Thank you very much @ewkaw ☺️👏!!
What variety of the genus Astrophytum did you sow? Some are slow-growing, like Asterias and Ornatum!!
But to be honest, these species are very rewarding in my country — they love the climate. I can even tell you that I've seen some bloom in winter. Is your region cold?
Greetings, friend, and happy Tuesday to you!! Hugs 😊🙏🫶
I have older Ornatum, but it never bloomed.
I sowed Asterias hybrid and Myriostigma. So far so good :)
Ornatum is the most difficult to bloom; it truly takes a very long time, but it does grow quite a lot and becomes beautiful.
Myrostigma progresses quickly and blooms as soon as its ribs are well-defined. After 1 or 2 years of maturity, it then produces its first flowers. As for hybrids, they are complicated @ewkaw!!.
Let's see how fast I manage to kill them then :D
No haha, they also give beautiful flowers… Take care of them ❤️
I am trying :D
