After waiting so long the flowers of my Echeveria Secunda are showing, they have emerged from tiny green buds that with the passing of the days have taken colors first yellow and have just let see a beautiful pink almost orange, I'm bad at describing colors hahaha, but they are beautiful my little flowers. In addition I have been removing some dry leaves that I had at the bottom of my little plant and you can already see small buds that will become new plants of Conchitas.
Approximately 40 days ago began to let see a small flower stalk that were just detailed about 30 days ago clearly, it should be noted that this small tends to form just a flower stalk, only one side of it, and that is where it will let see its bouquet, so this may be the beginning of many more flowers.
This succulent unlike others, is not as sun friendly as many think. When I bought this little one, my brother bought one for his house, and left it in the window where it was in direct sunlight, then after 4 days, it died without the possibility of being revived, so when my sister-in-law saw my little one blooming after only 3 months with me, she was surprised.
Unlike the Kalanchoes, the Echeveria is a friend of the shade, so we must have it in places where the sun, but not directly, their care in terms of irrigation and substrate are very similar to those of the zamioculcas, watering once a week in summer and once every 15 days in winter, the best way to test if they need watering, is as with cakes and biscuits, introducing a wooden stick in the substrate, if this comes out dry at all, it is time to water them. Well drained soils because as all succulents are enemies of puddles, this tends to rot their roots and produce fungus.
What I love about succulents is that they are of little care, eye this does not mean that we leave them there and they defend themselves, because some have their tricks or data to take into account, but with that I do not have to be watering them daily, something I always forget, for me is a great advantage, plus they give us a beautiful view. Here I wanted to show you what has been the evolution of this little Conchita or Echeveria Secunda plant.

Luego de tanto esperar ya las flores de mi Echeveria Secunda se están dejando ver, han emergido de diminutos capullos verdes que con el pasar de los días han tomado colores primero amarillos y recién han dejado ver un hermoso color rosa casi naranja, soy mala describiendo colores jajaja, pero son hermosas mis pequeñas flores. Además le he ido quitando algunas hojas secas que tenía en la parte de abajo de mi plantita y se dejan ver ya pequeños brotes que se convertirán en nuevas plantas de Conchitas.
Hace aproximadamente 40 días comenzó a dejar ver un pequeño tallo floral que fueron apenas detallados hace unos 30 días con claridad, cabe destacar que esta pequeña tiende a formar apenas un tallo floral, de un solo lado de la misma, y que es allí donde dejara ver su ramillete, así que esto puede ser el principio de muchas otras flores más.
Esta suculenta a diferencia de otras, no es tan amiga del sol como muchos piensan. Cuando compre esta pequeña, mi hermano compro una para su casa, y la dejo en la ventana donde le daba el sol directamente, acto seguido, luego de 4 días, murió sin posibilidad de ser revivida, así que cuando mi cuñada vio a mi pequeña floreciendo luego de apenas tener unos 3 meses conmigo quedo sorprendida.
A diferencia de las Kalanchoes, la Echeveria es amiga de la sombra, por lo que debemos tenerla en lugares en donde les del sol, pero no directamente, sus cuidados en cuanto a riego y sustrato son muy similares a los de las zamioculcas, riego una vez por semana en verano y una vez cada 15 días en invierno, la mejor manera de probar si necesitan riego, es como con las tortas y bizcochos, introduciendo un palillo de madera en el sustrato, si este sale seco del todo, es tiempo de regarlas. Tierras bien drenadas pues como toda suculenta es enemiga de los charcos, esto tiende a podrir sus raíces y a producirles hongos.
Lo que amo de las suculentas es que son de pocos cuidados, ojo esto no quiere decir que las dejamos allí y ellas se defienden solas, porque algunas tienen sus mañas o datos que tener en cuenta, pero con que no tenga que estar regándolas a diario, algo que siempre olvido, para mi es una gran ventaja, además de que nos regalan una vista hermosa. Aquí les quise mostrar cual ha sido la evolución de esta pequeña planta de Conchita o Echeveria Secunda.
