Blooming my Gymnocalycium bruchii

in Succulent growers3 years ago (edited)

The advantage of this Gymnocalycium is that it gives rise to many processes.

Gymnocalycium bruchii grows up to 6 cm in height and up to 5 cm in diameter.

In most Gymnocalycium species, flowers are bisexual and capable of self-pollination.

The flower size of my Gymnocalycium bruchii is 5 cm.

Among Gymnocalycium there are drought-resistant ones, some that grow in the shade of bushes and some that are very cold-resistant.

I really like Gymnocalycium for their unpretentiousness, early flowering and abundant long flowering.

I have several different Gymnocalycium and still they are not enough for me :-)

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet

Yes the Gymnos are so small and rewarding

I have pollinated several flowering cacti.
Some have already developed seed pods.
I hope that the boxes will not fall off and the seeds will ripen.
This is for you and @ewkaw
I don’t sow seeds, I don’t have the patience for that :-)
