Today I'll show you pictures of another Neoporteria of mine in bloom called Neoporteria litoralis.
Neoporteria is native to Chile.
Bloom Neoporteria begins at a fairly young age.
Flowering time depends on the species, but Neoporteria mostly blooms during the warm season.
They write that in room conditions it blooms quite rarely.
But mine bloomed 2 times during the year.
Flowers 5 cm in diameter.
The flowers of my Neoporteria litoralis have a very pleasant aroma, not strong, but I would like to :-)
Neoporteria likes bright light with direct sunlight in the morning and evening.
During the dormant period, it is desirable to reduce the temperature of the content to + 10 - 12 ° C.
They write that it is quite difficult to grow Neoporteria on their roots, but all of mine are not grafted, i.e. grow on their roots.
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
Despite the abundant flowering of my Neoporteria, I managed to get seeds from only one seed box.
Although I pollinated all her flowers, it means that I did something wrong.
They are in the photo below, I don’t know if this is small or normal in terms of the number of seeds for one box.
These seeds are small.
Oh my... those flowers are gorgeous!
Many thanks!
see email :-)
These are beautiful flowers from a cactus plant! How many days until the flower withers away?
Thank you very much!
Each flower lasts from 3 to 7 days, depending on the species.
The flowering of my cactus, in general, lasted a long time, more than a month. Next time I'll count the days :-)
Wow! These are very sweet flowers! Wondering if they would taste in my salad!? 🙀😂
Thank you very much!
For a salad, they are very beautiful, I will not give! 🤣
This flower is very extraordinarily beautiful.
With very pretty colors.
maybe all women will be very happy if given this flower.
