Rhipsalis can live not only in the ground, but also on the trunks and branches of other plants.
In this case, it is nourished by moisture and minerals from precipitation and dust.
They write that Rhipsalis will die at temperatures below +7 ° C.
Mine can handle colder temperatures as well.
My Rhipsalis are in a place where the sun's rays fall on them in the afternoon, as they do not like to be in the open sun.

As you can see in the photo, it blooms profusely, it's a pity that its berries are not red or pink.

I want to show you a photo of what happened to him at the beginning of this year.
One day I went in the morning on some business.
And upon returning home, I saw several of my cacti, including one of the Rhipsalis, splashed with cement!
And very strongly!
Can you imagine how difficult it was for me the Rhipsalis clear of cement?!
It took me a long time to do this!
Since great care was needed, because Rhipsalis's segments are very easily broken off.
It was easier with cacti.
So where is the cement from?
The builders cemented some of the cracks in the building.

car!

I have had people dump cement in my plants too and I want to kill them! They survive if you can clean them in time but the effect is worst on the roots. I can't say for sure which rhipsalis you have there, they mostly look very similar and light levels influence the growth strongly
