So interesting how a (well, 'the') sound system changed so much! Due to sound systems, we now can experience concerts and festivals gathering up to a million people on a few square kilometres. I never realised those who owned the first sound systems, where those who lead the music scene. Very very interesting.
That the origin had something to do with sound systems surprised me as well.
I wonder how those same systems impacted the rest of the world.
