RE: Valentines’s Day in Japan

Some of those chocolates are elaborate little bites.

Was there a special flavor or meaning in the torches?

Valentine's means candy and flowers mostly in the US.... and maybe a meal out at a special restaurant. There might be a romantic or funny Valentine's card as well.

My older sister made little heart shaped meatloafs for her and her husband for dinner....LOL... so you can express your love on Valentine's whatever way you want it seems.

So many designs right!
The were three flavors of the torches. They had pistachio, vanilla and strawberry. I thought they were cute but hadn't thought about whether there was meaning to it. Lol! I wonder if it had anything to do with the Olympic torch.

As in the US, that’s how I’m accustomed to seeing it being celebrated. Red roses are popular gifts for ladies especially.

Here, it seems “all” about chocolate.

Your brother-in-law must had loved those meat loaves. 💕
Yes, we can express love in whatever way we choose.
Have a lovely day. 😃🎶
