Jahm is back!!

The Reggaesteem tribe was one of the hardest hit when the fork happened. A number of other events collided with the timing of the Steem/Hive fork, and that massively impacted the little community that had been working and building on Reggaesteem.

  • Key people left the project.

  • Covid 19 decimated the tokens long term use case, and hurt many of the people involved in the project.

  • The hard fork put the final nail in the coffin.

But, now rebranded as Reggaejahm, the tribe, and token has moved to HIVE and is ready to rebuild. @dmilliz has done an amazing job to keep the fires burning, and this relaunch is exciting.

The logo is awesome by the way - love it.

What to expect.

In a nutshell, cool vibes and a chill place to hang out. If you are just looking for maximizing your rewards, the Jahm token isn't for you. The goal from what I understand, is to focus on building the community. Token value may flow, if the vibes and community come. Who can participate? Anyone really. All that is required is content relevant to Jamaica and the Caribbean in general, and reggae/dancehall music. Reggae music lives in many parts of the world, and if you love it, share it on Reggaejahm.

What is my involvement going to be?

Over the coming days, I'm going to restart my @jk6276.jahm account. I'll shift my JAHM tokens there, and anything ReggaeJahm related will be on that account. I'm mainly doing that because I have lots of autovotes set up on other accounts, but I don't want to do any autovoting for JAHM. My curation will be 100% manual. No auto's, no whitelists, no ROI expectations. I'll try to visit daily, and spread some love around. Don't expect many posts from me, but what I will do is try to engage in the comments. I'm mainly just looking for a nice chill place to hang out, make some friends and support good content and good people having a go.

Speaking of having a go...

Check out this post from @dmilliz. A proper dancehall Bitcoin tune from 2 passionate Hivians - @dmilliz and @luca1777. Big respect for laying this track, can't wait to hear the full version. Everyone on Hive can support by pre-saving this in your Spotify, or other music app. This will boost the tracks visibility on those platforms once the launch date arrives. To do so, follow the links in the O.P. linked above.

Welcome back Reggaejahm - Irie vibes for all.

Peace,

JK.

JK, respect every time bro! I appreciate your presence on this community.

Yeah it was really surprising how many people disappeared/left all at once. Kinda sad but such is life.

Yes, a lot happened in a short time.

Best direction to move after a setback is forwards.

Hopefully this time around we can build a strong community, thriving on Hive.

Cheers mate.

This is great. Looking forward to seeing more of the old vibes from this community of Reggaejahm

So far, it’s difficult to call it a roadmap, but, this is the direction, and it’s already good lol.

You forgot to point out that you can publish positive content that may not be related to Jamaica and the Caribbean, as I understand it.

Earlier, I tried to automate voting for friends' content, but. now, only manual voting. The work has increased, but this way you can give promotion to new users, in the common people - to plankton.

I see that the market is living its own life and that it is on a positive wave.

Thanks for the nice information.

Thanks for your support!

ReggaeJAHM is back in full force indeed. Bless up @dmilliz and @jk6726. True words about it being the hardest working community before the HF.

I myself am excited for a restart and rebranding. Being fully blessed with a major airdrop has me committed to this community like never before.

I will also be doing manual curation within the community using my stake of JAHM.

Bless-ed love from Paramaribo.

Thanks for the update and the enlightenment of the project relaunch. I too have felt that the project took a hit with the hardfork. We no longer felt like a community. Times are hard so I know most probably have more pressing issues to focus on. Hopefully slowly but surely things will get back to normal.
