Today I want to tell you about CITY FARM, a game that has been running on the Hive network since August 2023, with a farm theme.
There, as a farmer, you will have the opportunity to grow corn and wheat which you can process in the mill. You will also be able to raise some animals to produce milk and eggs which will be needed for some processes.
Other necessary elements come into the game:
trees that will give you wood, which, processed in the mill, will allow you to obtain charcoal.
And structures:
-Well, with which you can supply your farm with water.
-Energy factory, which will allow you to obtain the necessary energy for all the operations to be carried out in the farm.
-Mill, through which you will be able to process and transform into other elements necessary for your farm: wood, wheat, corn, milk and eggs.
To play City Farm you have to buy some packs. Each one can be bought only once and brings different materials and structures that will allow you to grow in the game and therefore in your farm.

Hoy quiero hablarles de CITY FARM, un juego que funciona en la red de Hive desde Agosto de 2023, con la temática de granja.
Allí como granjero tendrás la oportunidad de sembrar maíz y trigo los cuales podrás procesar en el molino. También podrás criar algunos animales para producir leche y huevos que serán necesarios para algunos procesos.
Entran en el juego otros elementos que son necesarios:
árboles que te darán madera, la cual, procesada en el molino te permitirá obtener carbón.
Y estructuras:
-Pozo, con el que podrás surtir de agua a tu granja
-Fábrica de energía, que te permitirá obtener la energía necesaria para todas las operaciones a realizar dentro de la granja.
-Molino, a través del cual podrás procesar y transformar en otros elementos necesarios para tu granja: la madera, trigo, maíz, leche y huevos.
Para jugar City Farm tienes que ir adquiriendo algunos packs. Cada uno lo podràs comprar una sola vez y traen diferentes materiales y estructuras que te permitirán crecer en el juego y por ende, en tu granja.

First of all, it's the farm style. I love farm simulation games. And this game allows me a farm style, with a beautiful pixel design, with all the elements to have fun playing.
There are animations that make it visually appealing. Movement on the lands that are waiting for harvest time, indicators that signal you that the harvest is complete, among others.
Secondly, I find significant their new referral system, which offers players the opportunity to earn 15% from the purchase of in-game packs made by their guests. This means that if you invite someone and that person buys one of the game packs, you will receive 15% of the value of that pack as profit which means a lot of benefits, not only for the game but also for its players.
The third aspect is the Hive Pool in the game. This pool leads you to find the best strategy to score points and position yourself on the list to get Hives on a weekly basis.
During my time with the farm I have tried various strategies using the different elements to gain points...which has been giving me satisfactory results as I have been moving up the list of participants in the pool, currently getting 3.5 swap.hive weekly.
The fourth aspect that I really like about the farm is precisely that it requires you to generate strategies on a permanent basis: to define which sector of the farm you should develop first, how to produce more, which elements to level up first in order to be more effective, in other words... it challenges you to constantly evaluate the strategies you have chosen and to look for new ones in order to increase production and make your farm self-sustainable

El primero, es el estilo de granja. Me encantan los juegos de simulación de granja. Y este juego me permite un estilo de granja, con un diseño hermoso en pixel, con todos los elementos para divertirte jugando.
Hay animaciones que lo hacen visualmente atractivo. Movimiento en las tierras que están esperando el tiempo de cosecha, indicadores que te señalan que la cosecha está completa, entre otros.
En segundo lugar, me parece significativo su nuevo sistema de referidos, que ofrece a los jugadores la oportunidad de ganar un 15% de la compra de los packs del juego realizados por sus invitados. Esto significa que si invitas a alguien y esa persona compra uno de los packs del juego, recibirás el 15% del valor de ese pack como ganancia lo cual significa muchos beneficios, no solo para el juego sino para sus jugadores.
El tercer aspecto es la Pool de Hive en el juego. Esta pool te lleva a buscar la mejor estrategia para sumar puntos y posicionarte en la lista para obtener Hives semanalmente.
Durante mi tiempo con la granja he probado varias estrategias usando los diferentes elementos para ganar puntos...lo cual me ha ido dando resultados satisfactorios pues he ido subiendo en la lista de participantes en la pool, obteniendo actualmente 3,5 swap.hive semanales.
El cuarto aspecto que me agrada mucho de la granja es justamente que te exige generar estrategias de forma permanente: para definir qué sector de la granja debes potenciar antes que nada, cómo producir más, qué elementos subir de nivel primero para obtener mayor efectividad, o sea.. te reta a evaluar constantemente las estrategias que has elegido y a buscar nuevas con el fin e aumentar la producción y de volver tu granja autosustentable.

So far my experience on my farm has been very positive, however there are some details that I think are worth considering.
Increase the water supply in the first two packs so that production does not stop so quickly due to lack of water.
It is very difficult to maintain farm production without the water needed for all processes. Even for those who buy all the packs at once, the need for water is felt very quickly in the early stages of the game and the market is not yet moving fast enough to provide players with this resource. And even today that need is still felt. Let's hope that soon the market will move more actively to make it easier to buy water and not stop production.
I think that the requirements for leveling up some structures are too demanding in terms of the amount of materials required in relation to what I can produce and the time required. For example. To increase my tree to level 2, I need 25 woods. If I only have 1 functional tree, I get 5 woods every 72 hours (3 days), for which I need 10 waters; this means that to produce the 25 woods I need, I have to make 5 cycles (15 days) and I need 50 waters (which I would have to buy in the market if I don't have the well, which is my case). This makes it very difficult to level up, costly, and also very slow.
I know that the idea is not to make everything easy and quick to get; but perhaps, by making some quantities more flexible and improving the water supply, life on the Farm will be much more dynamic.

Hasta hoy mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva en mi granja, sin embargo hay algunos detalles que pienso vale la pena considerar.
Aumentar la provisión de agua en los dos primeros packs para que la producción no se detenga tan rápido por la falta del recurso.
Resulta muy cuesta arriba mantener la producción de la granja sin el agua que se necesita para todos sus procesos. Incluso, para los que compran de una vez todos los packs, la necesidad de agua se siente muy rápido en las primeras etapas del juego y el mercado no se mueve aún lo necesario para proveer a los jugadores de este recurso. Y aún hoy se percibe esa necesidad. Esperemos que pronto se mueva mas activamente el mercado para que haya mayor facilidad para comprar agua y no detener la producción.
Considero que, los requerimientos para subir de nivel algunas estructuras, son demasiado exigentes en cuanto a cantidades de materiales que se requieren en relación a lo que puedo producir y al tiempo del mismo. Por ejemplo. Para aumentar mi árbol a nivel 2, necesito 25 maderas. Si solo tengo 1 árbol funcional, obtengo 5 maderas cada 72 horas (3 dias), para lo cual necesito 10 aguas; esto quiere decir que para producir las 25 maderas que necesito, debo hacer 5 ciclos (15 dias) y requiero 50 aguas (que tendría que comprar en el market si no tengo el pozo, tal es mi caso). Lo cual hace que se vuelva muy dificil subir de nivel, costoso, y además muy lento.
Sé que la idea no es que sea todo fácil y rápido de conseguir; pero quizás, flexibilizando algunas cantidades y mejorando la provisión del agua, se dinamice mucho la vida en la Granja.

I agree with the water being scarce during the start of the game, also I've made a mistake when I started the game, I've put almost half of my water and energy to the swap.hive stake and that really put me behind for sometime, so better not waste a single water and energy if you are just starting. 😉
Right... I think when we started out, many of us made those mistakes...
But the good thing is that little by little we are recovering...
