Es el parque nacional mas conocido de croacia, cabe destacar que es una reserva con grandes manantiales, lagos y cascadas. Fue catalogada como patrimonio de la humanidad en 1979.
La zona que puede ser visitada se encuentra en todo el centro del parque, es un valle poblado de bosques y esta conformado por 16 lagos, 92 cataratas y varias cascadas.
Podemos realizar la visita a pie a traves de varios senderos y puentes de madera. Tenemos la oportunidad de recorrer los lagos mas grandes con una barca silenciosa y disfrutar divinamente del paisaje.
