It’s almost summertime! So, get your bikinis ready and ready to flaunt your beach body as summer is fast approaching.

Try the wonderful and amazing white sand at Maravillosa Beach Resort in Tabuelan, Cebu.
Well, it cannot be denied that Tabuelan, Cebu, has been gifted with many good beaches. The sand is the same as Boracay's, white and refined. If your budget is not for Boracay, why not try Maravillosa? It is free for the public.
We went there last summer, and it was an amazing beach adventure. I never enjoyed beaches, as I always thought that the scorching sun hurt my skin. Also, I do not want to get sunburned. So, whenever someone invited me to go to the beach, I always declined. But this one’s different. When I heard the name Maravilla, a light bulb in my head lit up, and I automatically said yes. It is because this place has been trending for years as a mini Boracay of Northern Cebu.
Reaching there also requires a lot of patience. You need to be vigilant about the signage you pass through on the road so you won't be like us, who did not notice the beach signage and ended up lost. But, charged with experiencing that as an adventurer, we need to be vigilant of the surroundings.
Traveling via motorcycle would take almost two hours from Danao City to Tabuelan, Cebu. The roads were also challenging as not all the roads were plain and smooth. There are a lot of blind curves and bumpy parts. Thus, the driver should be keen on the road and must try to be flexible enough to cope with the province-like roads of Northern Cebu.
If you’re not traveling privately, you can take a utility vehicle or public transportation with an estimated fare of 150 pesos. Any transportation modes are all worth it when you arrive at the majestic beach.
By the way, the Spanish meaning of the beach’s name—Maravillosa, means wonderful or astonishing. I can say that it was true! True enough that you would want to go there every summertime. Indeed, the beach is so majestic and astonishing that when you lay your feet on the sand, you can feel the refined texture of the sand. And, seemingly, the nerves on your feet will run to your brain and bring a message to lay your feet on the water and feel its majesty. All the backpains from the travel will go away and will be replaced by astonishment and excitement to enjoy every moment at the beach. You can do whatever you want; you can just lay a blanket across the ocean and enjoy the view. If you want to stay overnight, they offer cottages and rooms, which are not free. So, you need to bring extra money if you want to prolong your stay at the place. The place is good at night if you want to do a bonfire or wait for the sunrise. Hence, this place is the best, especially during summertime.
If you ask where it is located, the beach is just located right across from their barangay hall and covered court. So, if you bring your vehicle with you, you won’t have to worry because there are many parking spaces available.
