Hi travelfeed friends, this time I am back here to provide information about amazing tourist attractions, how wonderful it is to travel while getting to know the species of large mammals whose existence has decreased, therefore there is one place in the interior of Aceh, to be precise in the Aceh Jaya district, now used as a place of observation as well as a tourist spot to get to know this very clever mammal.

This elephant tourism in Aceh Jaya sub-district is better known as "Cru Sampoiniet", a place that is still natural and far from the hustle and bustle of life, making "Cru Sampoiniet" increasingly popular with volunteers who want to research the life of this large mammal. Those of you who visit here not only see elephants, there are many places you can visit, Aceh Jaya offers different natural facilities from other regions, you will also find waterfalls as well as very clear river flows, where there are various types of animals, especially fish. "Kerlieng" or Gariang is the name of a fish that is the favorite of anglers in this area, there is also "Ileh" or big eel in this area.

This type of "Kerlieng" or Gariang fish has a soft skin texture, it can be processed into various dishes too, if it's grilled it's also delicious. usually in Aceh the fish dish "Kerling" is served with traditional spices, or in Aceh it is known as "Kuah Asam Keu'eng" a slightly sour sauce dish that makes it taste even more savory.

Back again to travelfeed's best friend elephant tourist spot, if you are an observer of this large mammal, then I highly recommend this place to you. Let me explain to you a little what "CRU" stands for, which I mentioned at the beginning, "CRU" means: Conservation Response Unit, well friends, "CRU" is also used as a training ground and placement for tame elephants. In the "CRU" Sampoiniet there are several tame elephants. The "CRU" was originally established to resolve conflicts between wild elephants and humans. Well, if you are lucky then you will have the opportunity to bathe the elephant with the handler.

The following is the address of the Sampoiniet "CRU" for those of you who want to visit, which is located in Sarah Deu Hamlet, Ie Jeureungeh Village, Sampoiniet District, Aceh Jaya, Aceh. Located 150 kilometers from the city of Banda Aceh. if you use a two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicle, the mileage will take about 4 hours. but the trip will not be boring because on the way you will be presented with a very extraordinary view of the stretch of mountains and also the stretch of sea on the right of the road, Mount Gurute and Mount Kulu, plus the view of the Lamno sea from above, really a very extraordinary view, if you never read my post about travel: Keluang Island - an Exotic Island With a Swallow Cave in the Middle of the Sea (from Aceh) then you will find a picture of beauty on the way to CRU Sampoiniet, because these two places are almost close together.
For those of you who are a photograpy, maybe there will be many places that can be used as a shot as your photo collection, because the Sampioniet CRU offers a very beautiful nature, especially since the CRU Sampioniet forest area is included in the Ulu Masen protected forest area. or if you want to take a picture while riding an elephant, I think it is an amazing shot. because usually there are several tourists visiting and taking pictures when riding on the elephant's back or when bathing an elephant.

So, how many travelfeed friends are you, how are you? are you interested in visiting here. A little explaining that in the Sampoiniet CRU forest you do not only find elephant species, there are many types of animals that live in the area around the forest, such as forest goats, hedgehogs, or small tigers.
