Inside the Factory: Cleaning and Sorting the Famous Whitstable Oyster - Made in the UK!

in TravelFeed2 months ago

From flying a drone over the Whitstable Oyster Farm and taking the tour out to where the oysters grow, we're now showing you the Oyster Factory, where they clean and sort the oysters before placing them into tanks for self-filtering while they await the health test results.

It was so much fun to see how the freshly harvested oysters were unloaded from the boat, coming straight from the farm — then scrubbed clean and transported via conveyor belt to the sorting machine.
