Heya peeps! Its time to strike some city air this evening. Let me send you on a trip down memory lane to my experience here in the city and what I think of as a provincially-raised person.

MALL OF ASIA ARENA

The Mall of Asia, also known as SM Mall of Asia, is one of the largest shopping malls in the Philippines, located in Pasay, Manila. With a vast array of retail stores, dining options, and entertainment venues, the mall attracts both local and international visitors looking for an exceptional shopping experience. -Paymytrip.com

This place was so humongous and filled with tough crowds, I could barely pull my eyes away from the hundreds of stores waiting to be walked in by a visitor or a customer. The place was really a hustle and bustle and it took us a lot of time trying to navigate our way through the place since there were so many entrance and exits. I really wanted to go ice skating, but we didn't have enough time so we just went at an American-inspired food court that served savory pieces of chicken (that I went full on bloated after eating). We still couldn't get enough and ordered a large cup sized boba tea. I kid you not, I thought it would be a normal sized cup but gosh it was so tall, I nearly froze to death and also forcefully tried to fit the whole drink into my filled stomach. We walked around some stores after that and stumbled upon several shoe and jewelry stores. I was able to capture some of the stunning shots inside and outside the building but then again, my old phone broke so I wasn't able to insert everything.

The Golden Phoenix hotel might've been the second most luxurious place I've been in after the hotel we stayed at during my grandparent's Golden Wedding Anniversary. The place is a walking distance from the Mall of Asia Arena so we could easily get there without having to waste money on vehicles. The place remained on the side of the long highways along with other humongous establishments. We settled into each of our chambers (wink wink) which were divided for each family in the clan. We spent our New Year here by the rooftop and counted down along with other people while trying to get a glimpse of the fireworks settled behind the large building in our view. The place was like an endless maze, with tons of similar looking hallways with gorgeous modern architecture and eye-candy decor. It also has a free view of the whole city below us.

Four Seasons by Vikings is a famous eat-all-you-can and hotpot place all in one. It was by the Manila Bay, which without a doubt, had loads of people all dressed up for the evening to either spend it alone, or with their loved ones. As someone who doesn't frequently go to places like these, I had a really hard time trying to monitor my own food. I didn't know how to cook or familiarize the taste of the condiments at that time, so I ended up experimenting and absolutely just forcing myself to down the meal in my stomach although it felt like self-poisoning. I ended up drowning myself in actual edible and delicious food that didn't require my horrendous cooking skills which included ice cream (maybe a tub?), some salmon, and a few more desserts again (hehe). After filling up my tummy, we decided to walk along the Manila Bay and went into a Starbucks establishment and yet again, ordered another drink (diabetes??). After a while of walking around, we returned to the restaurant and played poker, then returned back to our hotel and went upstairs to see the wonderful view.

That's pretty much everything I can sum up from today. Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day and as always, take care! Loveyou xoxo
