The bridge was built in 1881 and is also known as Narmada Bridge. This golden bridge of Bharuch is built by British gov. It is huge and strong bridge. it was connect Bharuch and Ankleshwar two city.

The bridge made Of fabricated steel structure connects Ankleshwar to Bharuch in Gujarat. It wa sthe one part of national highway some time ago.

The bridge was built in 1881 by british and is also known as Narmada Bridge. and its cost that time is Rs 45.65 lakhs.( 59,847 USD ).

The length of the bridge is 1412 Mtrs.

The golden bridge is one of th e oldest monuments in Bharuch. Two cars can pass by but the road is narrow.

Such tight it is that each car that uses the bridge has to close the rare / side mirrors to avoid friction between two cars. Not sure how long the authority will let vehicles pass from it.
