In this blog, I am going to share to you a lovely place just within Cebu, Philippines where you can see a beautiful flowers and scenic view of the mountains. I think it is already the start of summer season and this is the perfect season to visit this kind of place because you will get a chance to enjoy the view.
The place is called Buwakan ni Alejandra that is located at Transcentral Highway Gaas, Balamban, Cebu , Philippines. This place is open to public and no wonder it gained a lot of popularity to the local and international tourists because it is a garden full of different kinds of flowers and plants. If you are a person who appreciates this kind of view, you will surely love it here because you will be able to see such majestic view. Well, of course this place is a man-made and I heard that the owner used to collect different kind of plants and flowers and it turns out that the public loves it and that is where they started to operate it as a tourist attraction.
This was a well-spent day because my husband and I decided to have a road trip Sunday so we choose to have a south route going to Balamban and this is why we got the chance to visit this place. I really admire how much effort they put in just to build this kind of garden and I know for sure it takes a lot of care for the plants for them to grow beautifully. We really enjoyed taking a lot of pictures here, and staying for a couple of hours since the weather is good and the gentle breeze of the wind makes my heart and mind calm.
Usually when we plan to travel, we always preferred to visit a beach because it is more relaxing but for this trip, I appreciate trying out visiting this kind of place where you can just sit in and enjoy the view. It is hard to explain but there is really something that you can get when you try to connect with nature, whether it is a beach, a mountain, or something like a garden. Truly nature heals.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: Sitio Bunga Gaas, Balamban, Cebu- A few meters from Adventure Cafe. 30-45 minute drive from JY Square.
BY COMMUTE: At the Ayala Center Terminal. Ride a V-hire going to Balamban via Transcentral Highway. Ask the driver to drop you off at Buwakan ni Alejandra.
BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Buwakan ni Alejandra” in Gaas Balamban. Parking space is available.
No problem at all if you feel hungry because there are restaurants nearby and those foods and drinks that they are offering are affordable and delicious. I think this is also a perfect place to spend for a valentines date or the usual dates for your loved ones. Remember, it is not always how luxurious or cheap the place is, but it is how you spend time with your loved ones. Creating memorable moments together is what truly matters…
