RE: Chocolate (Lindt) Museum: Cologne (GERMANY)

Never visited a chocolate factory, must have been fun. This brand has always been a touch expensive, but well worthwhile.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the old tools used to obtain finished product, plus the chocolates used to be solid all the way through.

Thanks for the tour!

It is definitely one of the more expensive brands! It is great fun to visit a chocolate factory even if you aren't a kid!

I normally stick to the dark chocolate, of late the local brand is not available so enjoy a little Godiva Belgium chocolate at 90% cocoa. About double the price but still cheaper than Lindt which is available.

Manufacturing processes are always interesting, I worked at a sugar plant for a couple of years where they started implementing flavours into syrup onsite during the 1980's.

Oh, the Godiva is really nice as well! Thankfully, we live near Belgium... so these can be found pretty easily and not too expensively!
