When I stood on top of the Cliffs of Moher, which at the highest point are 214 meters (702 ft.) high, I felt the power of nature, especially when the ocean hit the rocks with full power. It was the water that miraculously carved the slopes of the cliffs. The cliffs are made of limestone and sandstone. They are one of Ireland's main tourist attractions.

Interesting facts:

From the cliffs you can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay and even the Maumturk hills in Connemara.

Every year, Moher Cliffs are visited by over a million tourists.

29 species of sea birds live permanently on the rocks, which can only be reached from the air, including very rare ones.

The Cliffs of Mohery and the Burren are part of the Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way and are included in the UNESCO Global Geoparks list and are among 130 unique places in the world.

A walk in this place is an unforgettable experience. You just have to be careful, because it tempts you to approach as close as possible to the end where you can stand and look down ... Many people take risky photos, sit at the ends of the cliffs, despite signs with prohibitions, despite stone slabs that block the possibility of approaching to dangerous slopes that can collapse.

A special platform is built on one of the slopes where you can take nice pictures. Many people lie at its ends and take effective photos.

On the cliffs there is also a nineteenth-century stone tower - O'Brien's Tower. It is a tourist attraction and observation point. From a distance, it looks mysterious and romantic, especially when fog rises over the ocean.

Many sea birds fly around the cliffs, watching them is a lot of fun, especially for me - a person who loves birds. I would like to be able to fly over the cliffs with such ease that is available to birds. It would be amazing freedom ... but I don't like parachuting or paragliding, so it's an idea from the series - dreams not to be fulfilled ;)

The Cliffs of Moher appear as the "Cliffs of Insanity" in the 1987 film The Princess Bride, in 2008 they were the setting for the filming of the video "L'amore" by the Italian pop duo Sonohra and for the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) and in 2011 they were used by the American rock group Maroon 5 to record the video for the single "Runaway".
