The four of us went out to see the evening view of Padma river. The other three are much younger than me.I always feel sincerity with them. Ratin,Sadhin and Suvo are their names. We went out to the river at this time because we wanted to see the insane form of Padma in the rainy season.

The river Padma flows through Munshiganj and Shariatpur districts. On the other hand, Meghna river is next to Chandpur and Matlab. After a few distance Padma came to a place where she merged with Meghna. In this trip I was also eager to see the confluence of the two rivers.

We first came to the river bank. The name of this bank is Mawa Ferry Ghat.Mawa is one of the largest ferry terminal in Bangladesh. There are three ferries plying here simultaneously-row row ferry, dumb ferry and K type. A total of 18 ferries operate on this route.

The ferry terminal is the only means of communication with the southern part of Bangladesh.People from 21 districts in the southern part of Bangladesh pass through this terminal.

Our boat was heading west. It was seen again and again that the fishermen are throwing the net and picking it up again. Zero , no fish in the net. By then the impression of depression was on the fishermen's eyes. Because fishing is going on day and night, there is no fish in the river today. Fishermen who lived on the banks of the Meghna are not at peace today. Lack of fish, make it hard for them to survive their life.

Suddenly a folk song came to my ears,

"*I’m in flooded

I drowned under water

I understand the deep sea

with my heart*"

*'There is no shore, no shore,

no crossing end,

You drive carefully, boatman

On my broken heart.'*

I listened to the song attentively.Sitting on the deck of the steamer, I saw a huge wave.Ever thought the steamer was going to be sink.Everything seems to be falling apart. What a turbulent Padma.

Our steamer is moving forward. By that time it has moved to the middle of Padma. Meanwhile, seeing a boat nearby, Ratin said, look, look, the boat is moving on the chest of Padma.... What would have been better if we had come by boat! There are 2 boys and 2 girls sitting on that boat.

We look at the form of the Padma with both eyes, wondering how much fun it is to travel river. Sadhin said ," Look at moon. How beautiful when the reflection of the moonlight fall on the chest of the river."

Suddenly A plane cross over the moon. It get caught on my phone. The sound of plane in water give me a different kind of feeling. It like that the plane is going to crash on river.
