Near the very town of Novy Vag in the village of Betskov, Slovakia, on a large hill is the unsurpassed and majestic Betskov Castle. Of course, not quite a castle, but a ruin. But still these ruins are in excellent condition and gladly accept tourists and residents of nearby cities. The castle is very old, the first mention of it was in the 7th century. Today it is an architectural monument of the Slovak Republic.
Під самісіньким містом Новий Ваг у селі Бецков, що у Словаччині, на великому холмі розташувався неперевершений та величний замок Бецков. Вже, звісно, не зовсім замок, а цого руїни. Але й досі ці руїни знаходяться у відмінному стані і радо приймають до себе туристів і мешканців найближчих міст. Замок дуже старий, перша згадка про нього була ще в 7 столітті. На сьогоднішній день це архітектурна пам'ятка Словацької Республіки.
Initially, this city had a wooden castle. A little later, a stone castle was built on the site of a wooden house. From time to time the owners changed and everyone tried to rebuild the castle to their liking. The most significant perestroika was made by the very famous and influential (at that time) Hungarian family of the Duke of Stibor. It is interesting to note that Betskovsky Castle in Hungarian will sound like - Bolondos!
Спочатку на цьому місті стояв дерев'яний замок. Трохи пізніше на місці дерев'яного будинку побудували замок з каменю. Час від часу власники змінювалися і кожен намагався перебудувати замок на своє уподобання. Найбільш значиму перебудову зробила дужу відома і впливова (на той час) угорська родина герцога Штібор. Цікаво зазначити, що Бецковський замок на угорській мові буде звучати як - Болондос!
Initially, the castle served as a defense and protection of the Hungarian state. And then Duke Stibor rebuilt it into an estate in the Gothic style. Even later, the architecture was changed in the Renaissance style. In 1599 the Turks came and wanted to capture the castle, but could not. But the village under the rock was destroyed, alas. Over the centuries, the castle has survived several fires. But much has survived to this day in excellent condition. The restorers of Slovakia are doing everything possible to ensure that Betskov Castle can be visited in the future.

У 1599 році прийшли турки і хотіли захопити замок, але не змогли. А от селище під скалою було зруйноване, нажаль. Протягом віків замок пережив декілька пожарів. Але багато що збереглося і по цей час у відмінному стані. Реставратори Словакії роблять усе можливе, щоб замок Бецков можна було відвідувати й надалі.
